The Villa

Escape to a peaceful villa in Botha’s Hill, South Africa.

Overlooking the breathtaking Valley of 1000 Hills, this spacious getaway offers panoramic views and a serene atmosphere - perfect for relaxation and reconnecting with nature.

Kariki Villa comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests, featuring 3 well-appointed bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The outdoor area is designed for leisure and entertainment, with a sparkling pool, a covered patio and a braai area - ideal for enjoying the fresh air and scenic surroundings.

Nature lovers will be delighted by the abundant birdlife, as well as the presence of a friendly donkey (Daisy) and a few goats on the property, adding to the countryside charm. Despite its tranquil setting, the villa is conveniently located near Hillcrest and serves as a perfect halfway point between Durban and Pietermaritzburg.

A convenient place to consider staying during Kersney College sports fixtures, Shongweni Polo Ponies events and swim and tennis events at Curro School in Waterfall. Not to mention walking distance from Talloula wedding venue and Phe-Zulu Safari Park.

Secluded Off-Grid Bush Camp in Botha’s Hill

With capacity to host up to 90 people, this bush camp is tucked away in a lush valley in Botha’s Hill, South Africa. Our off-grid bush camp offers a true escape into nature. Accessible only by 4x4 (transport can be arranged), this hidden camp site is the perfect retreat for adventure seekers looking to unplug from the modern world.

The camp provides basic yet comfortable facilities, including hot showers, flushing toilets, a dedicated braai area, fire pit, drinking water and a kitchen prep area. While there is no electricity, solar lights illuminate the area, ensuring a cozy and eco-friendly experience.

Surrounded by dense greenery and untouched wilderness, guests can enjoy a private and immersive outdoor experience, whether it's stargazing by the fire, listening to the sounds of nature, walking along the designated nature trails or simply unwinding in the fresh air.

Perfect for off-road adventurers, family getaways and groups looking for a unique outdoor experience, this bush camp offers an authentic, back-to-basics experience in the heart of nature.

If you do not have a tent, one can be rented at an extra fee.
