Waggy Wednesdays at Kariki!
We're excited to introduce Waggy Wednesdays, a time for you and your pet to explore the beautiful trails at The Kariki Experience.
Every Wednesday, the trails will be open and you can start walking anytime between 8:00 am to 9:00 am.
Choose the route that suits you:
🐕 2 km trail – A walk with plenty of beautiful scenery.
🐾 3 km trail – A longer adventure for those wanting to explore a little further.
📍 Start Point: The Kariki Experience
🕗 Start any time between: 08:00 and 09:00
🚶🏽♀️ Distance: 2km or 3km (45min - 1 hour)
🌿 Terrain: Hilly, off-road nature trail

The event is open to anyone (you don’t have to bring your pet). There is no trail fee however we would love for you to support our Café!
This is a self-guided walk. The route is sign posted and well-maintained. It consists of contoured dirt paths that wind through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the area. As you make your way along the trails, you'll wander through expansive aloe fields, meander beneath the cool shade of towering forest trees, and enjoy the tranquillity of the indigenous forest. Along the way, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views across the magnificent Valley of a Thousand Hills.
As these are off-road trails, we recommend wearing trail shoes or sturdy walking shoes for the best grip and comfort.
Requirements:
Dog/s remain on a lead at all times during the walk.
Owners are responsible for the supervision, behaviour, and control of their dog/s.
Owners will clean up after their dog/s and dispose of waste responsibly.
Owners will not bring dog/s that are aggressive, ill, injured, or pose a risk to people, animals, or wildlife.
Dog/s is appropriately vaccinated and fit to participate in the walk.
The best part? Your adventure begins and ends at our welcoming Café, making it the perfect place to relax after your walk. Treat yourself to a delicious barista-made cappuccino while your pet enjoys their very own puppuccino. It's the perfect way to round off a morning spent exploring the trails together.
